BEETROOT – BREAKFAST RECIPES

Easy and healthy. Smoothie Bowl packed full of trace minerals. This bowl includes beet smoothie, Homemade museli & topped w/ fresh Blueberries & chopped pear
Beet breaky smoothie
Ingredients
1 small (100g) fresh or frozen chopped beet
1 serving (30g) vegan vanilla protein powder
1 cup (140g) frozen strawberries
1 cup of coconut milk or water (250 mL)
1/2 a frozen banana (60g)
Method
Add all ingredients to a blender
Pulse on low & then slowly increase speed
Blitz until smooth
Scoop the mixture into a bowl or cup for on the run
Sprinkle museli over and fruit as desired 2
Brain health museli
Ingredients
1 cup puffed rice
1/2 cup flaked almonds
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup sultanas
1 tbsp cinnamon
Method
Add all ingredients into a storage container
Put on lid, shake well
Store in airtight container in fridge
Use as desired
