Educational Workshops to fight against Obesity and Mental Health Issues
Our mission is to raise awareness to those at health risk and provide individual counselling or group therapy sessions with the help from our professional team and we adopt a holistic approach. As mindset is fundamental to addressing the obesity problem, we focus our efforts on cognitive restructuring and emotional resilience through early intervention and education..
One of our current efforts is to carry out our educational workshops project at local child care centres. The objective is that after taking workshops, clients can have a comprehensive understanding of obesity and its related mental health issues, and thus learn to develop a positive mindset and a healthy lifestyle to proactively fight against obesity.
We are running two hours of workshops around Sydney, where our practitioners from various fields like Psychology, Nutrition, Naturopathy, and Life Coaching will provide free health workshopss.
Our target participants will be those from child care centres, after school care programs at primary schools, churches, mothers’ groups, and community centres in the suburbs of Western Sydney and around Sydney.
